How to Source Products for Hot Niches on EBay
It’s every seller on EBay’s dream- to find a niche where buyers are hungry for a product, but there is little competition. Or even better there is so much demand that a good seller can still sell a lot of product for a good profit.
The trick once you’ve found a hot niche you want to target is to then find a way to source product that you can sell at a profit.
Spell that out step by step-
- Find a hot in demand niche
- Find the best place to source products for your style of selling
- Determine the best selling techniques to make the maximum profit
Because selling on eBay is becoming so big there are a number of companies out there specifically there to make the above process easier.
Once you’ve picked your hot niche (more on in other articles) you need to find products to sell in that niche. But as I’m sure everybody has found, locating legitimate wholesaler who will deal with a small customer and still sell at a low enough price to turn a profit is extremely difficult.
SaleHoo have taken the hard work out of finding products and wholesalers willing to sell to EBay professionals, and have verified that these companies are legitimate, sell legal products (not copies etc) and will provide decent terms of business.
At last count they had over 8000 verified sources on their database covering drop shippers, whole sellers, liquidators (EBay gold!), and manufacturers.
They have one of these best anti-scammer systems out there. SaleHoo will anonymously buy from companies on their directory and leave feed back on the supplier feed back page. Also other users can leave feed back as to their experience. Thirdly they have community forums where you can ask questions about dealing with a supplier.
I’m going to be writing a lot more about what SaleHoo offers to help EBay sellers find the right products to sell.
